  
Irina Rimes was born in the Republic of Moldova and began her musical career in 2009 with a Russian-language duet called "Vremea" with rapper LaYeR. In 2012, she participated in the Moldovan "Star Factory" contest, reaching the finals, where she met musician Andi Bănică, who later became her husband.
After moving to Romania in 2013, Irina tried to launch herself under the pseudonym Irra, but the project was unsuccessful. To support herself, she composed songs for other artists.
Real success came in 2016 when she released "Visele", a song that became number 1 on the Romanian radio charts4. Since then, she has released four studio albums:

In 2023, Irina Rimes expanded her horizons internationally, performing concerts in cities such as Brussels, London, New York, Chicago and Sacramento. With over 450 million views on YouTube, she has established herself as one of the most successful artists in Romania.
