Hooverphonic will perform on April 9, 2025 in Bucharest at the Arenele Romane in a heated tent. The band returns to Bucharest in its original format. The first 200 tickets in each category have an earlybird price and go on sale on October 14 at 10:00. The band is celebrating 25 years since the release of the album "The Magnificent Tree" on tour, the album that gave rise to hits such as: "Mad About You", "Vinegar & Salt", "Out of Sight" or "Jackie Cane".
Hooverphonic come from Belgium and in their over 20 years of activity they have released 10 albums as well as hits such as "Mad About You", "Eden" or "2 Wicky", combining trip hop with alternative rock and electronic music. The most recent discography is 'Looking For Stars' which was released in 2018.
The band's songs have been included on the soundtracks of many films such as CSI, La Femme Nikita, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Permanent Midnight, The Interview, Stealing Beauty or Third Watch.
In 2020 Hooverphonic was supposed to represent Belgium at the Eruovision contest but it was canceled due to the pandemic.
The concert will be especially marked by the return of lead singer Geike Arnaert, the artist who took the stage with Hooverphonic from 1997 to 2008. She returned to the band in November last year and the moment was celebrated with a re-release of the famous song 'Mad About You' which had turned 20. Geike's return came naturally, considering that many fans of the band missed her.
Tickets have the following prices:
- Golden Circle (no seat, in front of the stage) - 159 lei in earlybird, 179 in presale and 200 at the entrance
- General Access (no seat, behind the Golden Circle category) - 119 lei in earlybird, 139 lei in presale and 150 lei at the entrance
The earlybird period is limited to the first 200 tickets in each category
Tickets offer participants access only in the categories in which they purchased their ticket.
The ticket agency commission is added to the price of all earlybird and presale tickets.
We recommend that fans who come with children under 10 years old protect their ears with special headphones. The volume at the concert will be loud and this may affect children's hearing.
The organizers will organize enough points of sale for drinks to avoid queues, as the Romanian Arena is a suitable location for such events. We still recommend that you come to the concert early and not right before the concert. It is normal that at peak times, right before the band enters the stage when the venue reaches its maximum capacity, the bars get crowded. The organizers will provide a detailed program a few weeks before the concert.
Access with umbrellas is prohibited.
