Asia Fest, the festival that promotes oriental culture and traditions, returns with a new edition. From 20- 22 September, at the National Arena in Bucharest, we will discover together the colours of Asia, the delicious tastes of dishes, the aroma of spices, clothing patterns and traditional songs. Get ready for three days of performances with specific music and dances, traditional Asian cuisine, workshops, exhibitions and many surprises for the whole family!
DANCE PERFORMANCES
K-pop bands, artists from Turkey, India and China will take to the Asia Fest stage and for three days they will introduce us to their special dances, music and traditional costumes.
TRADITIONAL ASIAN FOOD
Thai, Chinese, Turkish, Indian food. You’ll have the chance to taste them all at Asia Fest 2022. From starters, meat and meatless dishes to desserts and soups, all will be available from 20 – 22 September.
ACCESSORIES AND CREATIVE AREAS
At Asia Fest you can buy Indian clothes, Korean T-shirts, jewellery or decorative items. The exhibitors are waiting for you to meet them for three days at the National Arena in Bucharest.

ASIA FEST, the first festival in South-Eastern Central Europe that promotes the cultures and gastronomy of Asian countries returns with its 11th edition, between September 20 and 22, 2024. The event takes place in the courtyard of the National Arena in Bucharest (entrance from Strada Maior Coravu) and proposes three days of shows, presentations, traditional Asian cuisine, workshops and exhibitions.
Over 100 restaurants, food trucks, cultural centers, companies that import Asian products and over 200 artists meet at the National Arena in Bucharest, in the most effervescent festival of the fall.
The 2024 edition will be dominated by moments of both traditional and contemporary music and dance, but also by demonstrations of millennial traditions that characterize countries such as: Japan, China, India, Thailand, South Korea, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Turkey. These demonstrations include: tea ceremonies, calligraphy workshops, origami, ebru, martial arts, parades and displays of traditional Asian costumes, and the famous Cosplay and K-Pop competitions.
Among the special guests of this edition are the group of Japanese artists from Tokyo, Orientalrythm (https://orientarhythm.com/en/ ), with a superb show that combines traditional martial arts, dance with music and contemporary graphic projections or the theater company Senju Puppets in Sofia (https://www.facebook.com/senjutheatre), with a wonderful traditional Japanese Takeda theater show.
At the 11th edition of ASIA FEST, dance lovers are waiting for performances and workshops held by groups of international artists from Thailand and Indonesia.
