Kalandra is a project from Scandinavia, which includes four artists from Norway and Sweden. They approach a neofolk with melodic influences, their music being transposed in two studio materials so far.
They started their activity in 2011 and in a fairly short time they attracted attention with their music, being signed by By Norse Music, the record company with which Ivar Bjornson and Einar Selvik, Sowulo or Wardruna collaborate. The favorite themes in the music signed by Kalandra gravitate around nature and man's relationship with it.
With four Norwegian/Swedish musicians at the helm, Kalandra is a spectacular band, with musical roots in melancholic Nordic folk, which they intertwine with abrasive guitar sounds, inventing bizarre and disturbing soundscapes. Most of us got to know Kalandra by hearing them for the first time on the soundtrack of the Nordic series "Beforeigners" broadcast by HBO.
Lili Refrain is an artist from Rome, Italy who creates music by superimposing sounds that combine in a minimalist way, giving rise to pieces of different influences, from folk to psychedelic or from blues to metal. From 2007 until now, he has released five studio albums, each unique and with a special sound.
