Legendary Dutch death metal band ASPHYX come to Quantic on October 5th.

The band Asphyx has been known to the metal public for almost 25 years, being considered the most valuable Dutch death metal group after Pestilence and one of the few proponents of extreme metal in its pure form. Comprised of accomplished musicians with extensive experience in other extreme metal bands, Asphyx proves that death metal is about attitude and the weight of the music sets the tone. For the Dutchmen's latest album, Necroceros, their 10th studio album, released in 2021 via Century Media Records with artwork also signed by the well-known Axel Hermann, the Dutchmen worked to very high standards, as they common throughout his career. E-FORCE

E-Force was formed in Montreal, Canada in 2001 at the initiative of Eric Forrest, after his departure from the legendary cyber metal band Voivod. Forrest named the new band after the nickname E-Force, which Eric had with Voivod. E-Force released their debut album Evil Forces in 2003 to critical acclaim, but soon after Forrest moved to France the band's lineup changed. In 2008 E-Force releases the new album, "Modified Poison", impressing both critics and fans with its intensity. In 2014, the band released their third album, "The Curse", through Mausoleum Records. "Curse" was a concept album based on a collection of songs describing the temptation, obsession with women as well as their power. The fourth album, "Demonikhol", was released in 2015, a new concept album whose lyrics deal with the issue of alcohol, illustrating the havoc and destruction it can cause. Over the course of their 20-year career in which they performed more than 250 concerts in 20 countries, their albums received various notable interventions (Glen Driver, Kristian Niemann), and Eric worked on the release of the the fifth album, "Mindbender", published in 2021 with Mighty Music Records. The album was recorded with Patrick Friedrich on drums and Sébastien Chiffot on guitar. "Mindbender" is an album that does not abandon the memorability of the E-Force style, but that adds slower tempos and a particular ambience, clarifying the connection of Eric's projects with his status as a member of the cult band Voivod.
