The biggest air show in Romania, Bucharest International Air Show & General Aviation Exhibition (BIAS), will take place next weekend (August 30-31) at Bucharest Băneasa-Aurel Vlaicu International Airport.

BIAS 2024 will be attended by over 100 civil and military aircraft, as well as over 150 pilots and paratroopers from 13 countries, thus celebrating 20 years since Romania's accession to NATO
This year's aeronautical event, in its 14th edition, will attract on August 30-31, at Baneasa and Romaero Airport, over 150,000 hearts that will beat to the unique rhythm of the passion for flight, people who come to applaud on the open stage aerial demonstrations of mastery and professionalism in almost 12 hours of air show, who visit the aviation exhibition, who tremble with enthusiasm at the twilight flight, at the concert and at the pyrotechnic show that culminates in a magnificent firework display.
At BIAS 2024, the flags of the 12 countries that will be represented both by military and civil developments, as well as by aircraft in the aviation exhibition, will fly: Germany, France, USA, Greece, Poland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia and Bulgaria. Romania will be represented by the Romanian Air Force and the legends of domestic flight: Hawks of Romania, Iacării Acrobati, White Wings, Blue Wings. To which many other surprises are added! |
