Beach Please festival organizers have announced that they expect over 200,000 people to attend this year's festival.

The organizers of the Costinești festival estimate that at least 15 million euros will be spent by the participants only for accommodation and meals.

The festival will take place between July 11-13, 2024.


"Over 200,000 festival-goers are expected this summer in Costineşti, for the Beach Please festival.

Selly, co-founder of the festival, stated that 80% of the participants are between 18 and 24 years old.

"Beach Please broke all expectations in two. It practically tripled from year to year. 80% of festival goers are between 18 and 24 years old. It's gonna be epic. Young people from Romania are coming back to Costineşti," Selly said

Last year the festival contributed to the repair of a school roof in Schitu. This year, they are donating a new minibus that Costineşti can use to transport children.

The donation is over 300,000 lei, the organizers also stated.

They pointed out that all the calculations show that the festival could bring more than 15,000,000 euros to the local economy, in just three days.

"On the model of Cluj or Constanta, where similar events pump money into the local economy in the order of tens of millions of euros, in Costineşti the festival-goers would only spend between 8 and 9 million euros on accommodation.

Their costs for meals and drinks could bring more than 15 million euros to the economy of Costineşti"
