Bruce Dickinson returns to Bucharest on June 3, 2024. Tickets can be found in the iaBilet network and at tickets.emagic.ro.

Known throughout the world as one of the most important and distinctive heavy metal vocalists of all time, and as the lead singer of the legendary band Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson will release a new solo album in the first months of 2024, under the auspices of BMG Records. Entitled "The Mandrake Project", the material brings Bruce Dickinson and producer Roy Z together again.

The Mandrake Project will be Dickinson's seventh solo album and the first released in almost 20 years since "Tyranny Of Souls", from 2005.

Dickinson said: "This album has been a very personal journey for me and I'm extremely proud of it. Roy Z and I have been planning, composing and recording this album for years and I'm very excited that people will be able to hear it in end. I am even more excited at the prospect that we will go on a world tour with this extraordinary band that we have created to give life to the album. Our plan is to play as many concerts as possible, for what more people!"

The first single from the new album will be "Afterglow of Ragnarok", a dramatic piece, as well as an introduction to the music of the album and the captivating story behind The Mandrake Project. Afterglow of Ragnarok will be released on December 1st on 7" collectible vinyl, which will also include an eight-page comic book. The vinyl will also include Dickinson's original solo demo of "If Eternity Should Fail", which appeared for the first time on Iron Maiden's album "The Book Of Souls", in 2015.

The tour will start in April next year, with the first dates confirmed in Mexico and Brazil, followed by dates in America and Europe, and on June 3rd it will also arrive in Romania, at the Romanian Arenas in Bucharest.

Bruce Dickinson is best known to the public as the lead singer of the British band Iron Maiden, with whom he started singing in 1981 and which has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. He has also distinguished himself worldwide as an author, pilot, presenter, brewer, businessman, sportsman, screenwriter and solo artist.

His first solo album, "Tattooed Millionaire", was released in May 1990, and the next album, "Balls To Picasso", appeared four years later (1994). On this second album, Dickinson began collaborating with guitarist Roy Z and, with the exception of one material, they collaborated on all subsequent solo albums - "Accident Of Birth" (1997), "The Chemical Wedding" (1998) and "Tyranny Of Souls" (2005). before the release of Dickinson's third solo album, "Skunkworks" (1996), the artist held a concert in Bosnia, occupied and devastated by the war. The soundtrack of the documentary that appeared later and was awarded in 2018 - "Scream For Me Sarajevo" - was released as an album.

Besides touring and recording continuously with Iron Maiden, Dickinson found time to release her autobiography in 2017 - "What Does this Button do" - which reached the Sunday Times bestseller list. There has always been a desire to create another solo music project, and in 2021, Dickinson finally had the opportunity to focus on it. He returned to Roy Z again to work together on some unfinished ideas, which quickly became his seventh studio album, "The Mandrake Project", scheduled for release in the early months of 2024.
