NATIONAL DRIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP
STAGE IV
After seven years, RoDrift returns to the Constitution Square as a co-organizer of APEX SPEED FEST, for the 4th stage of the National Drift Championship and promises an incendiary beginning of September, full of suspense and adrenaline.
Approximately 100 pilots from Italy, Norway, Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary, Bulgaria and other countries are expected at the start, ready to compete with the Romanian pilots for the stage champion title. Currently, the favorites for the title for the general classification are the Bulgarian Nikola Popov, followed by Natalia Iocsak - the 20-year-old from Baia Mare, who conquered the podiums in international competitions and Gabi Imre Junior, the kid who, at only 16 years old, obtained the title of vice champion of the PRO class.
On Saturday, September 2, the qualifications for the PRO and SemiPro classes will take place, and on Sunday, the Battle session for both classes is scheduled, the most spectacular part of a drift competition.

WIN Tureanu Motorsport is an alliance of two entities, which wants to promote motorsport to another level in Romania. One of the organizers is the rally driver Andrei Tureanu, who has been competing since he was just over 20 years old, and currently contributes to this industry through his racing car development division, as well as through the classic car restoration division.
The passion for motorsport is also shared by the entrepreneur Cristi Pascu, the current CEO of PSC Group, the developer of WIN real estate projects and the founder of the art gallery WIN Gallery.
RoDrift made drifting known as a sport and attracted an impressive number of spectators around it, in an organized environment: the National Drift Championship, the biggest competition of this sport in the region.
The story of RoDrift started in 2014 and thanks to its power, in just five years, an enthusiastic club of amateurs became a professional community, organized according to well-defined rules under the auspices of the Federation of Motor Sports and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. |
