Coldplay is brought to Romania by Emagic Entertainment, one of the most famous concert organizers in Romania, the ones who also brought Guns N'Roses, Depeche Mode, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Metallica, etc. to Romania. The main partners of the concert are BCR and MasterCard.
Behind EMagic are Laura Coroianu and Guido Janssens, husband and wife. Laura Coroianu started her career in the 90s at Cerbul de Aur, coordinating the department of international artists. He lived abroad for 10 years, where he met Guido Janssens, with whom he founded Emagic in 2005. Through Emagic, they organized several concerts and festivals, bringing over 800 internationally known artists to Romania.
Less known to the public is Guido Janssens. In an interview given in 2008 to Business Magazin, he talks about his career, how he started as the lead singer of a band in the 70s, then he was a criminologist in Belgium, and today he is the general manager of EMagic Entertainment. An ardent promoter of live events, the 90s brought him a career in the international music industry and his first platinum record.
According to the discussions carried out by ZF, Coldplay's fee is between 3.5 and 5 million euros. In addition to this, the expenses of organization and production are added, which can mean more than that. |
