After the sold-out show at the Romanian Arenas in 2019 and after appearing as special guests at the KISS concert in Bucharest in 2022, the Germans are bringing the undead army to fill the Romexpo parking lot on June 6 with a pyrotechnic show of great days. Powerwolf come from Germany and have been maintaining the standard of power metal since 2003 when brothers Charles and Matthew Greywolf founded the band. Powerwolf is a band with a special show and image, in which each member has a pseudonym with a history and a well-established place in the band's universe.
Their songs are inspired by medieval legends with vampires, werewolves, but also by stories with religious overtones.
The two brothers were joined by the French drummer Stefane Funebre and the German keyboardist Falk Maria Schlegel and shortly after Karsten Brill. Karsten became Attila Dorn and his passion for Romanian legends with werewolves helped to develop the lyrical themes for the band's future albums.
From 2003 until now, the band has remained unchanged with the exception of the drummer. In the 16 years of activity, Powerwolf released 8 albums, albums that reached the charts of over 10 countries.
