  
The Winterfest adventure begins with the 2018 edition, in the Straja resort from Petroșani, where about a hundred winter sports enthusiasts wrote the first pages of the festival's story. For three days, the festival-goers enjoyed the perfect weather for skiing and snowboarding, but especially the opportunity to party and have fun at high altitude.
Certainly the memories of that time were not enough, so the 2019 edition came with new strength for the Winterfest story, this time in Parang!
PURPOSE
The goal of Winterfest is to become the main promoter of the concept of winter festival in Romania, characterized by the development and promotion of winter sports, resorts and mountain tourism in Romania.
2020
In 2020, the story of Winterfest goes further with 3 mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding competitions that brought together winter sports enthusiasts from all over the country for 3 days of mountain celebration on the slope of Parâng.
Along with the award-winning sports competitions, a number of top Romanian artists also contributed to the festival atmosphere, including Argatu & Santa Martin, Gojira & Planet-H, Drunken Pineapple, Adrian Șaguna, Șuie Paparude, Vita de Vie, Acu2tic, Bitter Moon, Ţapinarii, and Suburbia 11.
Also worth mentioning are ApreSki, the winter activities and games, which took care of the good mood of the participants throughout the events, but especially during the breaks between competitions and concerts.

Because we encourage the development of beautiful locations in Romania, this time Parâng Resort hosted over two hundred festival-goers, an acoustic concert with special guests Adrian Despot and Cezar Popescu (Acu2tic Vine) and Țapinarii, contests and challenges for sports enthusiasts in winter, but also ski and snowboarding courses for those who wanted to learn and catch the taste of adventure. The evenings were warmed by the open-air parties at the top of the mountain, which certainly created new memories worthy of the pages of the Winterfest story.
