Here we go again for another great gig with a true street punk/oi band, which, after so many years, still keeps up the antifa spirit in Italy.
The band is called Los Fastidios, they are from Verona, and every time I saw them live it was a true experience. Enrico is a great frontman, he is humble and charismatic, and he brings with him a message of unity and resistance.
Los Fastidios songs are all focused on one point: the antifa movement and the resistance from the streets. From the old ones, such as 'Antifa Hooligans' and 'Birra, oi! e divertimento' to the new ones, such as 'Radio Babylon' - sand with Elisa - their lyrics are full of this peaceful and yet so powerful message: stay true, stay rude, stay antifa!
I really liked their turn on a more ska/rocksteady sound, and, believe me, I danced all the time to the rhythm of the revolution! A great band, a great message: there's nothing more to say.
Oh well, of course: antifa siempre! |
