Gregory Alan Isakov â?? Evening machines

 Betyg

“Evening machines” is the fourth album from Gregory Alan Isakov. When he’s not making music he’s a farmer (a job not known for leaving much free time), and he has a recording studio set up in a barn on his farm where he worked on the album.
He’s a multi-instrumentalist, and on this album you’ll hear pedal steel, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, saw, keyboards and more. That mix of instruments is used nicely to add just the right atmosphere to each song.

Check out “Dark dark dark”..

It’s a great album – folk music meets indie rock with a dark feel to the music. There’s something about it that draws you in and makes you want to listen more. The vocals are great and really carry plenty of feeling, particularly in personal songs such as “Wings in all black”

A great album.

“Evening machines” is out now via Dualtone records
