British modern hard rockers Voodoo Six will guest with The Winery Dogs on two UK shows in July; Voodoo Six also play the Sonisphere Festival on Saturday, July 5th, the day headlined by Iron Maiden, who V6 toured Europe with last Spring.
The two dates are as follows:-
July 7 – Slade Rooms, Wolverhampton
July 8 – Underworld, London
“When we got the call to be special guests on The Winery Dogs shows, we were all very excited. We all really like the band – great players and great songs, too. Mike (Portnoy) has been a firm supporter of Voodoo Six since we played some shows with Adrenaline Mob a while ago, so it will be great to see him again. I also have a Billy Sheehan signature Yamaha bass, so I might just take it along to get it signed!!” – Tony Newton, Voodoo Six
'Songs To Invade Countries To', the latest album from Voodoo Six, is available now via Spinefarm Records; it consists of 11 studio tracks produced by V6 bassist Tony Newton, mixed by Newton & Pedro Ferreira (The Darkness, Enter Shikari, Therapy?) and mastered by Ade Emsley (Iron Maiden, British Lion).
It follows 2010's 'Fluke?' outing, which was released through Classic Rock's Powerage label and mixed by renowned studio engineer Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Metallica).
‘Fluke?’ will see an enhanced re-issue via Spinefarm later in 2014.
