Praise for 'Roots Of This Earth Within My Blood':
"If you fancy a fairy-hunting camping trip to rural Ireland, save your pennies and spin this instead" - Bizarre Magazine
"From The Bogs Of Aughiska sounds wondrously refreshing for dragging itself out into the gloom of the Irish countryside. All the while the backdrop crawls with guitar and synthesiser slithers, buzzing gently with deathly implication rather than the explicit boom of apocalypse" - Rock A Rolla
"From The Bogs Of Aughiska render all to silence with their harsh and jarring sounds of desolation" - Metal Hammer UK
"There are a handful of artists who manage to become synonymous with their physical environments through the sound they create - an aural representation of a location"
- Zero Tolerance
"From Ireland's west coast, this is the work of two intensely influenced by the landscapes of the Emerald Isle. Having their nations' rich history at their finger tips has given their echo of the ages authority and meaning" - Terrorizer
"FTBOA create mostly creeping, endlessly unfurling dark ambient noisescapes; subtle, measured waves of crawling pastoral horror, cloaked in a broadly black metal aura and rooted in the myth and folklore of the pair's native Western Ireland" - The Quietus
" 'Roots Of This Earth Within My Blood' channels influences from the darker side of the landscape, history and mythology of this Celtic land" - Sonic Shocks
‘Roots Of This Earth Within My Blood' is out now via Human Jigsaw Records.
