Earlier this year, Arizona’s The Maine released their fourth studio album, 'Forever Halloween' on Rude Records. Recorded with Brendan Benson of The Raconteurs, the bands latest effort has kept them busy ever since following an ever demanding touring schedule worldwide. Now comes a brand new video.
With the dramatic feel of a feature film, the video for 'Love & Drugs' tells a story true to the song’s mature themes in an all encompassing five minutes. This visual element is brought to life by the film’s director, Daniel Gomes. Far from The Maine’s first ever music video (the fun light hearted pop single from 2008’s release of 'Can’t Stop Won’t Stop') 'Love & Drugs' displays the sophistication brought on by a chaotic five years in the industry.
'Love & Drugs' is the second video to come from 'Forever Halloween'. The first being emotional driven piano ballad 'These Four Words' which dropped on the album’s release day, June 3rd. The video, uniquely shot in one take, premiered on VEVO and has since received hundreds of thousands of online views.
