SPEAKING THE KINGS | Here To Stay EP due for digital release July 15th '13

Rock / Post-Hardcore band SPEAKING THE KING’S from Orange County, California have revealed the tracklisting for their debut Here To Stay EP, set for digital release on July 15th in the UK.

The guys are offering the track 'How You Work' from their upcoming debut Here To Stay EP as a free download (e-mail required) at this location: http://bit.ly/howyouwork

1 – One Foot At A Time
2 – How You Work

4 – Tearing Down The Walls
5 – Lock & Key
6 – The Collector

Speaking The King's formed in Orange County during the winter of 2011 as a music project between former band mates Justin Bock and fellow guitarist Mike Entin, bassist Brad Reihl, and drummer Will Peacock. The demos quickly got the attention of A Day To Remember producer, songwriter and former guitarist TOM DENNEY (Pierce The Veil, Secrets) who got the band into his Florida based studio to record their first arsenal of music. Facing studio time booked and lacking a singer they called vocalist Bobby Burap who’s previous band had just ran its course to complete the band.

In just 5 months Speaking The King's have released a music video, toured throughout Southern California, Las Vegas and Arizona and shared the stage with We Came As Romans, Of Mice & Men, Winds of Plague, Bleeding Through and Blessthefall.

“The EP is about the band and the future we are working to create,” shares SPEAKING THE KING’S guitarist & founding member Justin Bock. “It's about the struggles and life events that have lead us to this point and our outlook on what's to come. We have put a lot in to this recording and we hope that people will be able to connect with our music and with us as individuals. Every band member has a say in our songwriting process; we all have a part in our sound and we can draw upon all of our collective influences. There’s the occasional disagreement, but we do our best to try out all ideas. Most of the time, once you play the part it's pretty easy to decide whether or not it works. We are very excited, and feel very fortunate, to be working with the people we are working with, and for the opportunities we've been presented with so far. We can't wait to get this music out and hit the road!”
