GRAVEYARD | UK / IRE Dates announced with SOUNDGARDEN

Swedish bluesy psychedelic rockers GRAVEYARD, have just been announced to support the incredible US grunge legends SOUNDGARDEN on their upcoming UK / IRE tour dates in September.

Graveyard comment; "We've been pretty f**king fortunate with the bands we've had the honour to open for. It's like taking a walk through our record collections, or just through rock history. When you list some of them, it comes off as pretty unreal - Iron Maiden, Deep Purple and Motörhead. And now - Soundgarden! Not so superunknown guys these days. And with the words of a Californian rock dude: Pretty f**king bad ass musicians that can deliver a bunch of face melting jams and shred like there's no tomorrow!

There isn't really much more to say than that. Of course we're super excited to head out on tour with Soundgarden. In a way it's quite logical. If you think about what the roots of their and our music are. We certainly got one or two things in common there, so hopefully people will see it as good match making?

13-Sep-2013 UK - Manchester Apollo

16-Sep-2013 IRL - Dublin 02 Academy
18-Sep-2013 UK - London Brixton Academy

Check out what the press think of their latest studio album, 'Lights Out':

Classic Rock Magazine: 'Graveyard have become a cause celebre for those in thrall to that cherished pre-digital beards 'n' bell bottoms aesthetic, not least because they temper their obvious debt to the past with songwriting of the highest quality.'

The Sun Newspaper: 'The refreshingly rough, mono-esque production is a delight... Graveyards latest shift is worth staying up for!'

Terrorizer Magazine: '...hauntingly eerie, blending minor tones with riffs that vary from toe-tappingly catchy to frantically disjointed, but never fails to be richly evocative and undeniably emotive in its husky southern-sounding stomp.'

Rock Sound Magazine: 'Lights Out is still positively brimming with gargantuan riffs and superbly soulful vocal hooks that are certain to please any fan of an even-slightly vintage persuasion.'

Ben Ward - Orange Goblin: 'The big question now is: how the hell do they follow an album like Lights Out!'
