PROUD BRITISH rockers, The Treatment, have confirmed the re-release of their five-track covers EP, ‘Then & Again’, via Spinefarm Records.
Originally limited to 300 signed physical copies and recorded in celebration of Record Store Day on April 21st 2012, ‘Then & Again’ was produced by Airrace guitarist/songwriter Laurie Mansworth, who also produced the band’s debut album, This Might Hurt – issued through Spinefarm in September 2011.
‘Then & Again’ – a choice selection of ’70s covers – will be available on CD from the January 21st 2013.
Says vocalist Matt Jones: “This EP features five tracks originally recorded by some of our favourite artists from the ’70s - the likes of Chris Spedding, Slade & ELO. Needless to say, we’ve tried to give them an up-to-date Treatment twist!
“Actually, we’ve just been touring with another favourite of ours, Thin Lizzy, and the shows have been a fantastic experience. We’ve already been out with Alice Cooper, Kiss & Motley Crue, so we’ve rubbed shoulders with quite a few legends already… and hopefully there’ll be more to come!”
The track-listing for the EP is as follows:-
Motorbikin’ – originally recorded by Chris Spedding
Let’s Work Together – Canned Heat
Evil Woman – Electric Light Orchestra
Run Run Run – Jo Jo Gunne
Take Me Back ’Ome – Slade
