SB17 LINEUP COMPLETE!
Snowbombing royalty returns to the ‘hof as Drum & Bass pioneer Andy C joins the bill for SB17! The award-winning DJ, producer and founder of the influential Ram Records is a serial Snowbomber, guaranteed to deliver another standout set to the Mayrhofen masses as he takes over the Racket Club once more, ready to test its monstrous sound system with a raucous selection of DnB anthems.
SB17 welcomes back yet another DnB innovator in the shape of producer, DJ & Mercury Prize winner Roni Size. Studio Barnhus head Axel Boman and Running Back main man Gerd Janson both make their debut Snowbombing appearance, joined by UK producer Midland, Germany’s Matthias Meyer and Ruede Hagelstein and Compost regular Rafael Da Cruz.
Snowbombing are also excited to be announcing a partnership with UKF for SB17, kicking off on the 11th February with a massive Snowbombing x UKF launch party at Printworks – London’s new 5000 capacity music and arts space - featuring Sub Focus, Netsky, Friction & many more, and followed by a monstrous UKF stage takeover at Snowbombing, with line-up details coming shortly.

THE SNOWBOMBING ROAD TRIP BRINGS THE FREAKADELIC CIRCUS TO THE MOUNTAINS!
Roll up, roll up! Hans Von Hofen's Freakadelic Circus invites bearded ladies, hair-raising acrobats, animal tricksters, mind-bending contortionists, devious ringmasters and all manner of circus freaks to join this year’s Snowbombing Road Trip. The travelling freak show of over 150 cars and 500 ‘car-noisseurs’ will hit the open road on the trip of a lifetime, journeying across four countries as they join the greatest two-day festival car rally across Europe. Expect ridiculous pit stops, a fantastically funny ferry ride, road-trip raves, a Saturday night stopover featuring The Dance-Off and Bongo's Bingo, all finishing with a hero's reception as the parade rolls into the Mayrhofen, just as the parties spring into action with appearances from acts including Novelist, Mistajam, Mike Skinner, Doorly, Waze & Odyssey, Huxley and Theo Kottis.

Snowbombing prepares to welcome two of the biggest personalities in hip-hop as Run The Jewels bring their explosive live performance to the mountains! Veteran rappers Killer Mike and El-P topped nearly every ‘best albums of 2014’ lists with ‘Run the Jewels 2’ and with hit-after-hit in their back catalogue and a new album about to drop the duo are guaranteed to deliver a show-stopping performance.
Courteeners are also set to make their Snowbombing debut! With a string of successful albums and countless indie-rock anthems to their name, The Mancunian three-piece, fronted by charismatic frontman Liam Fray have earned their title of Britain’s “biggest underground band”. South London MC and producer Novelist has been making serious waves on the grime scene with his politically-charged rapid-fire vocals and futuristic beats. Get ready for some heavy basslines as he steps on stage at SB17.
Snowbombing also welcomes Superstylin duo Groove Armada! South London rapper Giggs is set to make his Snowbombing debut! From selling mixtapes on the streets of Peckham to becoming one of the most vital voices in the industry with standout tracks like "Talkin' da Hardest" and “Lock Doh”, few artists have had such continuing impact on the UK hip hop scene.
Stockport five-piece Blossoms also join the bill. A band undoubtedly on the rise, having started the year on the prestigious BBC Sound Of 2016 new music list, before shooting straight to the top of the UK Albums Chart with their debut self-titled album, they are sure to provide one of the standout sets of the festival. Snowbombing also welcomes Noisenik duo Slaves. Since the release of their Mercury Prize nominated major-label debut album “Are you Satisfied” the punk duo have been making serious waves with their rapid-fire vocals, garage riffs and raucous live shows.
With a career spanning over 25 years, De La Soul has cemented itself as one of hip hop’s most innovative and influential groups. Aside from kickstarting a worldwide trend for baggy pants, tie-dye and multi-colored shirts, the original hip hop trio from New York City were an integral part of hip-hop culture’s global rise, inspiring a whole league of rap groups with their trademark sound. From classic cuts like "Me Myself and I" and the irresistible hooks of "A Roller Skating Jam Named "Saturdays”, the Long Island trio are guaranteed to get the party started.
With Dixon at the helm, German label Innervisions has developed into one of dance music's most celebrated institutions. As a DJ, producer, and co-creator of the legendary ‘Lost In A Moment’ parties, he continues to dominate the scene, regularly topping RA's annual DJ poll, and is sure to deliver a memorable performance.
Get ready for a fast-paced, anthem-filled set from a bonafide member of hip-hop royalty as DJ pioneer Grandmaster Flash steps up to the decks at SB17! G House duo Amine Edge & Dance also star, bringing booming basslines, tech rollers and booty jams galore whilst Dirtybird’s Claude Vonstroke adds a distinctly 4/4 flavour to proceedings.
D&B veteran Shy FX is set to make a welcome return to the mountains, along with Bristol-raised, London-based producer Redlight, DJ Zinc and UK garage heroes Heartless Crew. In a career which has spanned more than a decade, they have sold out arenas the world over and collaborated with the likes of Novelist, Slaves, George the Poet, Bonkaz and Plan B. With a fourth studio album about to drop and a rumoured collaboration with Craig David on the cards, their show at Snowbombing is set to be unmissable!
The annual Snowbombing Street Party brings the entire village of Mayrhofen together with party revellers for Austria's largest fancy dress street party. This year, following an incredible season of events at Space Ibiza, Spain’s wildest and most flamboyant party purveyors Elrow are set to deliver a generous helping of Elrow magic to proceedings with Elrow presents: The Bronx Street Party. Expect the spectacular as Mayrhofen is transported to the iconic, cultural melting pot of ‘El Bronx’ at the heart of New York, home to Mafioso, Hip hop, Break Dance and Graffiti.
An internationally respected name in the worlds of R&B, Pop and Dance, Detroit producer MK first forged his career in the 90s, producing some of the decade’s most recognisable grooves. A prolific producer, he’s worked alongside chart-topping acts like Will Smith, Pitbull and Jay Z, remixed the likes of Lana Del Rey, Sam Smith and Haim and topped the UK charts with his remix of Storm Queen's 'Look Right Through’. In 2015 he destroyed the Snowbombing Arctic Disco with his distinctive vocal-chop sound and is sure to raise the roof once again as he makes his return to the mountains.
With multiple chart hits to their name, including the gold-selling ’Ready For Your Love’, Gorgon City’s mix of addictive basslines and big vocal hooks has kept them at the top of the scene since first emerging in 2013. Stepping up for a DJ set at SB17, the pair will relish the chance to delve more into the deeper, darker sounds of their underground roots. Hot Since 82 also stars, bringing a slice of the forward-thinking house music that has been drawing in the crowds at his His Knee Deep In Ibiza residency this summer.

Tuesday 5th April sees DC10 regular and all round house hero Kerri Chandler get behind the decks, ready to bring the heat to the igloo with an unforgettable Kaoz Theory party. Bringing soulful grooves galore with forgotten classics, deep basslines, lush synths and addictively catchy vocals, this party is sure to be off the hook. Special guest Heidi joins him on the 1s and 2s.
From one of the scene’s pioneers to one of the most talked about acts today, Hannah Wants takes control of The Arctic Disco on Wednesday 6th April.
