For festival fans are Rock am Ring and Rock im Park again in the center of their interest. A few months before the start of the most popular Germany's open air festivals are tickets to Rock am Ring already sold out! Even the twin festival in Nürnberg, which is characterized by a fascinating atmosphere has reached a new record with over 45,000 sold tickets at this early date!

The program is received enthusiastically from the beginning with Green Day, Volbeat, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Prodigy and Seeed and now has been upgraded! New in the line-up are The Killers, with their charismatic frontman Brandon Flowers for the first time since 2009 again as the main attraction.

The British electro-pop duo Hurts and the French, Grammy Awards winner Phoenix will be also play exclusively with their new albums on this two festivals. The commitments of such diverse bands and artists like Bloody Beetroots Live, Papa Roach, Ellie Goulding or the shooting stars Jake Bugg and Imagine Dragons underline the musical range of these open air festivals.

The national program is staffed with Seeed, Sportfreunde Stiller, Fettes Brot, Casper, Kraftklub, Cro, and the newly confirmed The BossHoss!

Green Day, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Prodigy and Volbat are headliners of Rock im Park 2013!

A unique, exciting and versatile music mix can visitors expect on the beginning of june at the German leading festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, from 7th - 9th of june 2013 on the legendary Nürburgring and Nürnberg. The mammoth party on each of the three stages presents a world-class program that brings together the best bands of different genres.

In the front line are already certain: Green Day, the most popular punk rock band in the world and the first time headlining Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, as well as the alternative superstars 30 Seconds To Mars. The hottest band package in recent years is based on dynamic, electrifying live sets that guarantee Volbeat as the current largest metal-rock ’n’ roll sensation. The Prodigy performance will be electrify the rockers and punk-rockers in the truest sense of the word, as has been in the case with their legendary performance in 2009.

We can also expect hard 'n' heavy focus that comes through with explosive line-up: Korn (first time since 2004 with guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch as special guest), Stone Sour, Bullet For My Valentine, Airbourne, Amon Amarth, A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon and Five Finger Death Punch offer maximum quality and diversity.

Great alternative and indie bands like Paramore, The Wombats and FUN. underline a wide range of musical spectrum.

Never in the history of the two twin festivals were so many prominent bands and artists confirmed to such an early date. Other main acts will be announced shortly. Rock im Park is one of the most popular open air festivals worldwide, such as the American music magazine Pollstar confirmed in his latest rankings. 2012 was the most successful year in the history of the festival Rock im Park. 76,000 fans was attended the three-day event, which was already sold out three months in advance.
