| Groovin The Moo (Bendigo) The idea for this thing sparked in 2003. “Surely there are enough festival-heads outside the major capitals to support a decent festival”. Rod and Steve were so caught up in their joint fantasy of a regional roving music tour at a party in Newcastle in 2003 they failed to notice those sneaky #@&^ steal their last beers. On 24 April 2005 this thing became a reality when GTM set up camp at the Gloucester Showgrounds (NSW) and over 1,400 tribe members gathered to see the Screaming Jets, Killing Heidi, Evermore, the Spazzys and a bunch of local and Newcastle bands. The show hit the road and pulled up at Narrandera in the NSW Riverina, to the glee of the 1,800 people who came along to cap off the end of the beginning. http://www.gtm.net.au/ben-moosflash.html |
