“This relationship with Heart is fantastic for the festival which will combine the UK’s biggest chart acts, including 2011 Brit winners, with the UK’s biggest commercial radio brand.”
“Last year the event received extraordinary coverage in the UK media including The Sun, The Daily Mirror, The Star, Top Of The Pops Magazine and Heat to name a few. The event also featured heavily in an episode of “Peter Andre – The Next Chapter” on ITV 2, which all added to the buzz around what was a fantastic event. This year, with two days dedicated to the biggest chart acts and working alongside the brilliant team at Global Radio, this event will be truly special.”
UK Chart toppers The Wanted join the Ultrasound Festival
Top UK band The Wanted have been added to the Ultra Sound Music Festival for the Sunday 4th September. This addition to the line-up means the Festival will be a perfect opportunity to see a multitude of top chart acts at one event. The Wanted have interrupted plans to take the USA by storm in order to play the Festival at the Tamworth Castle Pleasure Grounds.
Festival Director Adam Bridge says:
“The Wanted really are the icing on the cake. With Saturday having chart toppers Tinie Tempah, N-Dubz, The Saturdays, Alexis Jordan and more - Sunday is just amazing with The Wanted and Scouting For Girls, Example, Chipmunk, Loik Essien and pop heroes Madness. The event has been dubbed ‘The Last Great Pop Party of the Summer’ and this announcement just emphasises that message.”
“The show is such incredible value and at £34 for the day and £60 for the weekend it’s probably the best value pop event ever seen in the UK.”
Also on the Saturday bill are rising boy/girl band Six-D, latest boy rockers The Kixx and Starboy Nathan. Sunday includes new band tipped for success Lawson and exciting all girl band Parade as well as Twenty Twenty and Fanfair.
Tickets have been selling across the UK and Adam hopes that local fans will also been able to see their favourites:
“We want as many local pop fans to see the show as possible and with these prices and this line-up a sell-out is on the cards. Many of the acts have new singles coming out in September and this is a fantastic opportunity to be the first to hear some of the latest material as well as the hits.”
