| Speedy Ortiz Speedy Ortiz is an American indie rock band from Northampton, Massachusetts. The band originated in 2011 as Sadie Dupuis’ solo project. The project expanded into a full band later that year. Rolling Stone named Speedy Ortiz’s new album Foil Deer as one of 2015’s best albums so far.
