The Music ranges from neofolk, darkfolk, ambient Music to black metal. A Place where you can experience acts like Wardruna and Heilung, and also acts like Emperor and Amon Amarth who are going to be on the 2024 lineup. The festival starts with a blot ritual, free from religion or other constraints, where it is meant to be a personal experience, wether it is for cleansing yourself off of bad energy, or do whatever is meaningful to you. When you enter the festival area you are welcomed with a sign that says "Welcome Home". The audience attends from all over the World, it is so much more than just an ordinary Music festival, this is an experience, of bonding with others, with the past, with nature. |

Midgardsblot, the premier festival for metal and folk music rooted in Nordic mythology, today announced new additions to its 2025 lineup, promising an even more unforgettable experience set against the beautiful backdrop of ancient Viking burial mounds.
These new acts will join a diverse array of previously announced artists from August 13–16, 2025.
Leading the new additions is Swedish death metal band, Hypocrisy. With over 30 years of history, legendary Peter Tägtgren and his band are set to deliver a truly monumental performance! The fields of Borre are ready for their Arrival!
Also joining the lineup are Finnish folk-metal masters Ensiferum, who return after a previous conquest of our stage, this time with their epic new album Winter Storm.

TNT: With their powerful songs and a legacy spanning over four decades, this legendary Norwegian-American band has conquered stages worldwide — from Japan to Europe — and earned their rightful place in the Rockheim Hall of Fame. Now, Tony Harnell, Ronni Le Tekrø, and Diesel Dahl are back in full force, ready to shake the earth at Midgardsblot 2025!
Hällas: Bringing their "adventure rock" sound that blends retro 70s prog, classic rock, and sci-fi fantasy.
Benediction: A cornerstone of British death metal, promising crushing riffs and raw intensity.
Mork: Rooted in the cold soil of Norwegian black metal, MORK channels the raw spirit of the second wave with a sound that is both traditional and deeply personal.
Lili Refrain: A one-woman sonic ritual weaving voice, guitar, percussion, and looping into hypnotic ceremonies.
