Hesselby Slott since recently has new owners, among them Tomas Ledin, a wellknown swedish rock singer/song writer. He has promised to make this castle to be a castle for music and NOW 2012 for the first time - Stockholm will have a folk music festival!

Enjoy 2 days with songs, folk rock music and tradionals from all over the world.
A festival for the spirit of community that will cross borders between ages and different styles of music.

Five scenes, a barn for dancing, "spelmansstämma", workshops, everyone can get together to play something ("buskspel"),
food and beverage, fair booths, camping and hotel in the festival area.
And everything beneath the oaks of this unique castle park.

If it gets too hot from sun or dancing, it is only 10/20 minutes walking to close bathing places in the sea of Mälaren, Maltesholmsbadet/Hässelby strandbad.
It takes about 35 minutes with the subway/green line from Stockholm central to Johannelund, with 10 minutes walk to the festival area.
