| ElektroStat Norway's largest festival dedicated to underground electronic music; Synthpop, Synthrock, EBM (Electronic Body Music), Industri, Neo-punk, New Wave, Dark Wave, Gothic Metal, Neo-Folk, Elektronika, disco-punk og Electroclash. EBM, goth, disco-punk to ecstatic industrial noise and dark wave. The goal is to promote Norwegian electronic music from the underground, as well as introduce international acts to the Norwegian crowd. The festival started in 1999 and has only grown bigger since then. The festival location, Månefisken, Oslo, is a red brick style warehouse by the river - well known for both underground raves and fetish parties.
